Chennai Liver Foundation (CLF) is a voluntary, non-profit organisation which aims to promote awareness about liver health by supporting research and educational activities. It offers help, support and information to the medical fraternity and the general public about diagnosis, prevention and treatment of liver related diseases. Concerned about the increasing incidence of liver disease, Prof. R.P. Shanmugam founded Chennai Liver Foundation in 1997. Later Dr.Vivekanandan joined hands to make CLF the first organization in the India to focus in providing support for research and education into the causes, diagnoses, prevention and treatment of all liver diseases.
